Dynamic Community Mental Health Clinic in Central Kane County looking for a Part-Time Bilingual Psychiatric Case Manager.

TriCity Family Services, a private not-for-profit community mental health center, is seeking a Part-Time Bilingual Psychiatric Case Manager to conduct intake assessments and provide referral and linkage to clients. The ideal candidate would have experience with mental health, excellent written skills, excellent communication skills and a desire to be part of a dynamic clinical team.

Requirements

Qualifications
Spanish speaking
Bachelor’s degree in mental health discipline or High School Diploma and Medical Assistant certification
Sensitivity to, and respect for, cultural differences
Working knowledge of DSM V TR
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Interest in coordinating with both clinical and psychiatric team

Performance Requirements
Provides assistance to psychiatric team and clinical team

Contacts and follows-up with clients or parent/guardians of clients, pharmacies, and the psychiatrists regarding facilitation of medication and medication refills

Obtains height, weight, pulse, and blood pressure from client at the start of their psychiatric appointment and record information in the client’s case record. Complete billing slip for client when applicable.

At the request of the parent/guardian of client, completes Medication Administration Consent Form for schools.

As required, provides back-up to agency receptionists, answering phones, greeting/checking-in clients, and accepting fee payments.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in a mental health discipline or a High School Diploma and Medical Assistant Certificate
