Job description

We are seeking a General Cardiologist for a locum opportunity in Ronceverte, WV. This is a 6-month assignment with the option to extend, offering 2-3 weeks of coverage per month.

Assignment Length: 6 months with option to extend
Coverage Needed: 2-3 weeks per month

Schedule
-24-hour call coverage
-Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
-Monday, Wednesday, Friday clinic: 1:00 PM-4:00 PM when on hospital call
-Tuesday and Thursday: Full day in clinic
-Minimal nighttime calls

Practice Details
-Evaluation and management of new and established patients
-Cardiac risk assessments
-EKGs and EKG interpretations
-Holter monitor placements
-Pacemaker checks
-Treadmill and nuclear stress testing
-TEEs and cardioversions
-Adult patient population, 18+

Patient Volume
-Approximately 22-24 patients per day
-New patients: 30-minute appointments
-Established patients: 15-minute appointments
