The facility offers a very robust cardiology practice with strong departmental support and structured daily workflows in a Monday through Friday schedule with no call requirements.

Physician - Internal Medicine - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens position covering June 1, 2026 through December 2026
• Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call required
• 15-20 patient encounters per shift in a cardiac testing and reading role
• Must be able to perform TEE, Tilt Table testing, and Conscious Sedation
• Supervise and read daily cardiac testing volumes including:
• Stress tests: 15-20 per day
• Stress Echo / Dobutamine Stress Echo: approximately 1 per day
• Tilt Table tests: approximately 1 per day
• EKGs: approximately 75 per day
• Echocardiograms: 15-20 per day
• TEE: 1-2 per day
• Required cardiology skills include inpatient cardiology, ICU, non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, TEE (Transesophageal Echo), Nuclear Cardiology (Cardiolyte, thallium, etc.), and STEMI management
• Board certification required with ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
