This well-established regional medical center provides comprehensive inpatient cardiac care to the Lincoln community and surrounding areas. The facility operates within a larger healthcare network and utilizes Epic EMR, offering strong support staff and a structured hospital environment focused on rounding and consult-based cardiology services.

Opportunity:
Physician - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient cardiology coverage including rounding and consults (no clinic duties)
• Perform Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs) - required
• General night call coverage required
• Weekend rounding and consult coverage required
• No cath lab on site; cardiac emergencies and procedures are transferred to a nearby cardiac facility
• Coverage is hospital-based only
• EMR: Epic
• Active Nebraska medical license highly preferred
• General Cardiology Board Certified or Board Eligible required
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications required
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Availability at time of name clear required
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
