General Cardiologist Needed in MN | Full-time + Call | Competitive Pay

Job description

Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing
Shift Details: Monday-Friday 8a-5p, weeknight call, 5p-8a, weekend call Friday 5p-Monday 8a.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, Call ratio: 1:6.
Work Details:
· Support Staff: 5 general cardiologists, 2 interventional, 6 general cardiology APPS, 1 Electrophysiology MD and Electrophysiology APP
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Full time
· Patients per day: inpatient- 12-16 consluts/day, outpatient: 12-14 patients/day, echo assignments, 24-30 reads/day. Approx 2-3 calls/night and 1 patient seen.
· Patient Population/Age: Adult-Geriatric
· Department Description: Inpatient cardiology service rounding, cardioversion and TEE procedures, cardiology outpatient clinic, echo interpreations, adult TTE and stress echo.
· EMR: EPIC
· Special Procedures: TEE, Echo
