General Cardiology | Locum Tenens | Minnesota

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified General Cardiologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Minnesota. This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology with an established team and a shared 1:6 call rotation.

** This schedule is flexible, any availability will be considered.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Weeknight call: 5:00 PM–8:00 AM
Weekend call: Friday 5:00 PM–Monday 8:00 AM
Call rotation: 1:6
Ongoing coverage

Clinical Details:

Inpatient cardiology rounding and consults
Outpatient cardiology clinic
Approximately 12–16 inpatient consults per day
Approximately 12–14 outpatient patients per day
TEE and cardioversions
Adult TTE and stress echo
Approximately 24–30 echo reads per day
Adult and geriatric patient population
Epic EMR

Support:
Join an established cardiology department consisting of General Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiology APPs, and Electrophysiology providers.

Requirements:

Board Certification required
Active Minnesota license
1–3+ years of experience preferred

Travel and lodging are covered for the assignment.
