Non-Invasive Cardiologist needed in California

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist for an academic medical center in California.

📌 Highlights:

Echo-only focus – 25–30 echos/day,, inpatient rounding optional for academic backgrounds

Academic environment – Level 1 trauma center, teaching hospital with research opportunities

Supportive team – Echo techs, cardiology attendings, and interventional cardiologists always available

Assignment Details:

Start Date: ASAP | Contract: 6 months with option to extend

Schedule: 5x8s, M–F | At least 2 weeks/month of coverage

Setting: Inpatient + outpatient hospital coverage

EMR: Epic

Patient Population: Adult only

Support Staff: Echo techs, cardiology attending on call, interventional cardiology backup

Requirements:

BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease

CA License + DEA (Schedule II) required

BLS required | Advanced Echo Level III preferred

Teaching experience strongly preferred

Must have recent high-volume echo experience

Experience working with diverse populations (bilingual a plus)

Credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days (emergency privileges possible if no malpractice history)
