Cardiothoracic Surgery PA Opportunity – Madison, WI:
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
Start Date: December 21, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Full-time
Shift: Nights, generally 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Call: Required (approximately 1:5)
Practice Details
Cardiothoracic Surgery service
Adult patient population
Work alongside cardiothoracic surgeons, PAs, and RNs
EMR: Epic
Robotic surgery program
Patient volume varies
Requirements
Physician Assistant
Active Wisconsin license (required; client is not willing to license)
Active DEA
BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of experience
At least 2 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
At least 1 year of first assist experience in the CVOR specific to cardiac surgery
