Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery APP (NP or PA)
Start Date: June 2024
Contract Length: Ongoing
Shift Details: Monday – Friday with 1 weekend per month
Schedule: 8a-5p
Work Details:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: 1 FTE every Monday – Friday
• Patients per day: 15-20
• Patient population/age: 18 and up
• Department description: cardiothoracic surgery – in clinic area
o chest tube removals, wound vac dressing changes, care, and documentation, wet to dry dressings, stitch, and staple removals.
• EMR: CERNER
• Hospital bed size: 1078
• Special procedures: chest tube removals, wound vac dressing changes, care, and documentation, wet to dry dressings, stitch, and staple removals.
• Skills required: critical care experience – 2 years.
Practice Setting:
• Clinic/Hospital
Requirements:
• Board Certification: NP or PA Cardiovascular Surgery
• State license required: WV.
• DEA: Required
• CSR: Required
• Certifications required: APRN, ACLS, BLS
• Minimum experience required: 2 years.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
