Job description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery NP or PA to work with a dynamic team at a leading medical center in Washington, WA. This opportunity offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, providing hands-on experience in a high-acuity environment.

Location: Washington
Start Date: June 1, 2025
Duration: 13 weeks
Employment Type: 1099 Locum Tenens

Position Highlights:
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Call Schedule: 1 weekday night (5 PM – 7 AM) per week, plus weekend call rotation (7 AM – 7 PM)
• Patient Volume: Average daily census of 10-15
• Team Support: Collaborate with 2 RNs, 9 PA/NPs, and 9 office staff
• Practice Setting: Combination of inpatient and outpatient care
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Procedures: Vein harvesting experience required; DaVinci robotic cardiac/thoracic surgery experience a plus

Qualifications:
• Active Washington license; Willing to License NPs holding compact licenses
• Board Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• Experience in cardiothoracic surgery, vein harvesting, and robotic-assisted procedures preferred
