📢 Now Hiring: Cardiac Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens Opportunity in Charleston, West Virginia!

📍 Position Details:
• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Contract Length: 6-months
• Schedule/Shift Details: 7:00 AM start until cases are completed for the day. Physicians are incrementally released as cases decrease and assigned call physicians safely manage the surgical schedule. 8-hour, 10-, and 12-hour shifts available.
• Credentialing Timeframe: ~60-90 days
• Practice Setting: Hospital, Level 1 Adult Trauma Center
• Case Types: Full spectrum of surgical procedures. The only transplant procedures performed are Kidney. (No liver or heart transplants etc.)
• EMR: Cerner

Position Overview:
• Aya Locums is seeking a Locum Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a 6-month contract starting in June 2025. This role involves providing anesthesia services for a full spectrum of surgical procedures at a Level 1 trauma center with a focus on cardiothoracic surgeries.

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Required in Anesthesiology, with subspecialty in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology
• State License: Active West Virginia state license required
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: ABA, ACLS, BLS, National Board of Echocardiography Special Competence in Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography (required)
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology
