Gastroenterology Locums – Spokane, WA

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist to provide hospitalist-style GI coverage in Spokane, WA. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team in a Level 2 trauma center with Epic EMR and a steady but manageable patient load.

Assignment Details:

Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only

Start Date: 11/3/2025

Schedule: Weekdays, 8a–5p (no nights, no weekends)

Commitment: Full-time ongoing until perm hire is made

Minimum ask: 2 weeks/month (if shared between two providers)

Full-time coverage welcomed (with option to add outpatient procedures)

Patient Volume: ~5 per shift

Practice Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient

Support Staff: Yes

EMR: Epic

Skills Required:

Upper & Lower GI endoscopy

Esophageal dilatation & manometry (incl. interpretation)

Small bowel biopsy

Sigmoidoscopy & colonoscopy

Requirements:

Board Certification: Required (Gastroenterology)

License: Active WA license or IMLC

Fellowship: Preferred

Certifications: ACLS & BLS

Credentialing: ~90 days
