Job 6812 – Anesthesiologist | Austin, TX

An Austin hospital system needs general anesthesiologists to start ASAP, with 8- and 10-hour day shifts and no in-house call.

JOB SNAPSHOT
• Weeknight and weekend pager call preferred; no in-house call
• Medical direction up to 1:4 with CRNAs and CAAs; some solo cases
• Cases: General, ortho, neuro and OB
• Neuraxial and regional skills required
• Four hospitals across the Austin metro
• Credentialing: Approximately 60 days; temp privileges: 30–60 days
• EMR: iPro
• Travel and housing covered; meals provided on site
• Malpractice: Top rated coverage with tail included
• Active Texas license; board certification or fellowship required

WHAT YOUR DAY/WEEK LOOKS LIKE
Work 8- or 10-hour days, mostly directing CRNAs and CAAs while running some of your own rooms. Expect regular blocks and neuraxials across general, ortho, neuro and OB. Your week may move between four hospitals.

BEST FIT
A Texas-licensed anesthesiologist with board certification or fellowship and strong regional and neuraxial skills, comfortable rotating across multiple hospitals.
