Anesthesiologist Opportunity – Kingwood, TX (Just North of Houston)

A hospital in the Houston metro area is seeking 3 Anesthesiologists for ongoing locum coverage starting January 1st as a new anesthesia group goes live.

Assignment Details:

Start Date: January 1

Duration: 3–6 months minimum (option to extend)

Facility Type: Hospital – Level II Trauma Center

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7a–3p or 7a–5p or 7a-7p (8s or 10s or 12s available)

Call: 1:6 in-house call, 5p–7a (pre- and post-call off)

On-call team: 1 MD + 1 in-house CRNA + 1 backup CRNA

Case Types: General Surgery, Orthopedics, GI, Urology, GYN, Plastics, Neuro, Radiology, ENT

Model: Supervision (4 MDs : 14 CRNAs daily; total team 8 MDs & 18 CRNAs)

Requirements: Active TX license, ACLS/BLS/PALS required

Credentialing: ~8 weeks

Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $330/hr + travel & lodging

OT / Callback / Holidays: $355/hr (Holiday rate applies Jan 1)

Call Pay: Up to $330/hr (5p–7a)

Travel & Lodging: Mileage or rental car + housing + roundtrip flight if needed
