Job description

-7 Docs/day, 2 Post Call Day Off, 1-2 on PTO
-Full-time candidates highly preferred, will consider 2on/2off rotation.
-Shifts vary likely 5 -8/hr shifts.
-Call: 1 of 7 – Inhouse, 1 of 7 CV Pager Call.
-Pager call, not in house. 2 call teams, cardiac call team, trauma call team. Trauma call will eventually be every 6th night. Cardiac call will be every 4th night. Cardiac called in over night would be 10-20% and trauma would be 60%. Post call day off only for trauma call not for cardiac.
-General Information - 24k Total Cases
-6900 IP, 9300 OP, 6600 ENDO (6100 OP), 280 Hearts, 3000 Pain blocks, 650 OB (370 EPI, 280 C-sect)
-Docs – Cardiac and Trauma
-Mostly medical direction, some supervision on call, some solo cases. Med Direction you have to satisfy 7 stipulations to medically direct, present for induction, available at emergent, per-op evaluation, tighter model. Supervision just has to be in the model.
-Everything except transplants. neuro, cardiac, vascular, OB.
-Level 1 trauma and floating to the outpatient center
-Credentialing takes 60 - 90 days.
