Flexible Anesthesiology position in Memphis, TN (Great Pay / Fast Start)

Hello,

There is new General Anesthesiologist position in Tennessee, starting January 2025 or As soon as available. Please review the job criteria and let me know if you can assist.

Specialty: Physician - Anesthesiology
Contract Length: 6 months ongoing with 30-day notice
Shift Details: 10s, 12s, limited 24s Call frequency as much as provider can
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with Weekend and Call
Work Details:
· Support staff: 25 MDs and 50 CRNAs in practice
· Amount of coverage needed per month: 5 days a week 2 weeks a month, with Weekend & Call
· Patients per day: Ratio when stable 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4
· Patient population/age: Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric
· Department description: Anesthesiology
· EMR: Cerner and migrating to Epic in Spring
· Hospital bed size: 310 beds
· Will accept following specialties: Transplant Anesthesia, Neuroanesthesia, Cardiac Anesthesia, and Trauma Anesthesia
· Skills required: Epidural, spinal, regional (brachial plexus, fem-sciatic, ankle, wrist, etc.) with ultrasound.
Practice Setting:
• Hospital- trauma level 1
Requirements:
· Board Certification: Yes (Will take Board Eligible)
· License required: Yes, Licensed in Tennessee and/or Mississippi (ideally both)
· DEA: Yes
· CSR: Yes
· Certifications preferred: If cardiac, TEE Certification
· Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
· Minimum experience required: 2 years
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days full privs only

***MUST BE WILLING TO CRED AT all 4 FACILITIES
***Providers must be able to produce 350 adult case logs within the last 12 months, logs need to be from hospital based setting, similar size Level 1 Trauma
