Anesthesiologist Needed in Rhode Island

Job description

Case Volume: Approximately 3,000 cases annually, including the following specialties:

General Surgery
Endoscopy
Obstetrics (~450 deliveries)
Orthopedics (with some spinal procedures)
Urology
Gynecology
Podiatry
Cardiac (~380 cases per year, including cath lab and TEE)
Team Structure:

Daily: 3 CRNAs and 1 MD.
Full Team: 4 CRNAs and 2 MDs.
Roles & Responsibilities:

MDs: Conduct preoperative assessments, manage boards, assist in PACU, provide support as needed, and take second call.
CRNAs: Staff an operating room during the day and handle first call responsibilities.
Call Schedule:

Call begins at 3 PM on weekdays.
First Call CRNAs are on call every 3rd weeknight and every 4th weekend.
Second Call MDs are on call every weekday they work and every weekend they work.
