About the clinician's workday

This locum tenens anesthesiologist position covers day shifts Monday through Friday on 10-hour shifts, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. The clinician will provide anesthesia for all case types, including OB and trauma, with the exception of cardiac and neonatal cases. Required procedures include general anesthesia, MAC, regional anesthesia, and post-operative nerve blocks including extremity and TAP blocks. The anesthesiologist will provide medical direction of CRNAs at a 3:1 and occasionally 4:1 ratio, with call coverage negotiable and structured as 12 or 24-hour shifts with a post-call day off if required.
