Job description

Job Title: Anesthesiologist

Specialty: Anesthesiology

Start Date: 90-120 days from offer
Contract Length: 3+ months

Shift Details:

No call, no nights, no weekends
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Work between 2 facilities (split days between them)
Days might not be a full 8 hours
Work Details:
Support Staff: Working independently, no other anesthesia staff in-house or on call. Collaboration with the surgeon, OR staff, and anesthesia.
Patients per Day: Average of 20 cases from Monday-Thursday
Department Description: Critical access, Inpatient Unit, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Endoscopy, Pediatrics (including kids under 2 years old, typically minor procedures such as tonsils and ear tubes), and Emergency Room
EMR: No EMR - all paper charting for anesthesia
Practice Setting:
Hospital - Critical access
Requirements:
Board Certification: Required
State License: Ohio license required (open to licensing)
Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
