Specialty: Anesthesiology (MD)
Location: North Carolina
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 months (with potential extension until W2 hires are onboarded)

Assignment Details

Schedule: 8s, 10s, or 12s | No call required

Case Mix: OB, trauma, stroke, vascular, neuro, urology, ortho

Case Volume: ~10–15 CV cases/day; 3,500–4,000 general cases/month

Required Skills: Must be able to perform peripheral nerve blocks

Setting: Hospital, Care Team Model (1 MD:3–4 CRNAs)

Support: Anesthesia techs available; MDs may work their own cases if preferred

EMR: Cerner + AIMS

Excluded: No craniotomies or transplants (dedicated teams handle trauma & cardiac; potential for vascular)

Requirements

License: Active North Carolina license required

Board Eligible or Board Certified (Anesthesiology)

Comfortable with high-volume, diverse case mix

Travel: Client reimburses travel & lodging with receipts (no stipend)
