Anesthesiologist Needed – Plattsburgh, NY

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing until permanent replacements are secured
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM + call coverage required

Position Details:

Seeking 1–2 anesthesiologists for ongoing locum coverage

Must be experienced in OB anesthesia (labor epidurals and unscheduled C-sections)

Must take call and be within 15 minutes when on-call

Board Certified or Board Eligible candidates accepted

Temp privileges available for providers with clean files and no malpractice or work gaps

Case Mix:

Bread and butter cases: general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, ENT, GI, vascular, urology, plastics, colorectal

No cardiac, neuro, or high-risk peds

Average 4–5 cases per day | ~700–800 deliveries annually

Regional blocks for OR cases (no outpatient pain management)

Facility Info:

9 ORs, Level III Trauma

Team includes MDs, CRNAs, anesthesia techs, nurses, and OR staff

EPIC EMR

ACLS required; MMR documentation needed

Pay Rate: $400/hr + Travel & Lodging
