Assignment Overview:

Dates: November 13–14, December 22–26

Schedule: 7a–3:30p; 8-hour guaranteed shifts

Setting: Hospital

EMR: Meditech / paper charts

Patient Population: Adults only

Typical Coverage Model:

MD supervises 4 CRNAs

CRNAs work independently on call

MD may perform cases if supervision ratio requires flexibility

Procedures: Orthopedic blocks required; no OB coverage

Requirements:

Board Certified in Anesthesiology

Active New York medical license (no licensing assistance available)

DEA registration required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Must have prior hands-on experience in relevant anesthesia procedures

Clean credentialing history (credentialing timeframe ~60 days)

Practice Environment:

Collaborative, team-based OR coverage

Surgeons accustomed to supporting CRNAs if needed

Mix of supervision and independent practice
