Anesthesia Locum in the Bronx (NY)!

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed

• Schedule: Flexible, Monday-Friday, ongoing assignment
o Standard shifts: 8 hours/day (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, flexible on shift hours)
o Average shift: 8-10 hours; longer days may range from 12-15 hours
o On-call required:
 1x 24-hour in-house call every 6 nights for Trauma, General, and Backup for OB (post-call day off)
 1 backup pager call per week (infrequent call-back, approximately 1 night every 7-8 days)

Work Environment:
• Case Mix: General, Level 1 Trauma, ENT, Breast, Ortho, Ophthalmology, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology, Vascular, Neuro, OB/GYN, Bariatrics, Thoracic, Gastro, Colorectal, Endo, Dental
• Volume: 5,100 cases per year
• Facilities:
o 8 ORs
o 2 Endoscopy suites
o 4 Labor & Delivery rooms, 2 OB ORs, 1 NORA per day
o 420+ beds
o Level 1 Trauma Center

Requirements:
• Active NY license
• Board Certified (or Board Eligible if in process)
• ACLS and PALS certifications required

Credentialing:
• 60 days
