Anesthesiology Locum Needed in New York!

Contract Length:  Ongoing

Shift Details: 8-hour guarantee per day  

Schedule: 8-hour guarantee per day  

Work Details:  

·         Support staff:  1MD/4CRNAS

·         Patients per day: varies depending on the case 

·         Patient population/age: adults  

·         EMR:  Meditech/paper

·         Special procedures: Orthopedic blocks is required. No OB.  A mix of hands-on and supervision, CRNAs work independently on call. MDs don't have to take calls but we would like for them to help with weeknights or a weekend if possible. A typical day is 1 MD supervising 4 CRNAs if they flex up rooms or if we can't secure a 4th CRNA - the MD will go into a room until the supervision ratio is doable. Surgeons are used to cover the CRNAs if needed. 

Practice Setting:  

·         Hospital 

Requirements: 

·         Board Certification: Req’d

·         State license required: NY required.

·         DEA: required.

·         Certifications required: BLS, ACLS

·         Minimum experience required: Required.   

Credentialing Timeframe:  60 days.  Must be CLEAN applicants.
