Shift Schedule Details & Shift Duration: 8 and 12 hour shifts in hospital

• Rotation: • 1:4 call, 24 hour shifts
• Type of call:
◊ # of ORs currently being run: OR Staff: 13 RN’s 10 Surgical Technologists
4 ORs
Level 3 Trauma Center
Patient Age Demographic: (Adolescent, Child, Adult, Geriatric): 5%Adolescent, 2% Pediatric, 40% Adult, 40-50% Geriatric
Case types: Required cases: adult, peds, minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, OB epidural, some for general surgery, plexus anesthesia, ortho and spine, spinal anes, epidural anes, regional anes, OB cases, ventilation management, insertion of central line and arterial line, evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
◊ No local infiltration, no neurosurgical cases, no open heart, no thoracic, no complex vascular, no complex ortho, no acute or chronic pain management, no PA catheter
Credentialing Timeframe: 1-2 weeks
Type of Anes Model and supervision ratio: The Locum will be required to supervise CRNAs - medical supervision model with some solo cases
