Type of cases required: Mostly General, Endo, ortho, urology, ***HIGH-RISK OB (including VBACs)***, GYN, Cancer, Liver. Some Vascular, ENT, Radiology with Anesthesia, Cosmetics, Podiatry, Pulmonary, very light Cardiac (TEE and Brain-back).
Supervision: No, working independently doing own cases.
Spinals, Blocks, Epidurals: Yes
Caselogs required: Yes - proof of epidurals, spinals and blocks
EMR System: MedAxion
Licenses: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
Daily Model: 6 CRNAs, 4 MDs Daily, 1 provider on post call day off from first call – 9 providers working per day. 7 providers at main hospital with 2 providers in late room and 2 in CRNAs in ASC. All providers rotate evenly between the sites.
Model Type: Not supervision or medical direction. CRNAs and MDs working independently doing own cases.
Special Notes or Stipulations Regarding Site: High case volume
high risk OB, 1300 births per year, No NICU at the hospital, so if there are issues the baby is shipped to Southbend or Fort Wayne.
In-house call provider will have an anesthesia only call room.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days (Temps are available with a clear background / malpractice history and active, unrestricted license)
M-F Cases start at 7:30a-3:30p or until 5:30p (sometimes) (Mix of 8s and 10s)
Weeknight Call 3:30pm- 7:30am evenly rotated between providers
3 weeknights per month, potential opportunity for more in startup-up phase
