Job description

Type of cases required: Mostly General, endo**, ortho, urology, ***HIGH-RISK OB (including VBACs)***, GYN, Cancer, Liver. Some Vascular, ENT, Radiology with Anesthesia, Cosmetics, Podiatry, Pulmonary, very light Cardiac (TEE and Brain-back). **Endo is mainly at the ASC – close to 2100 cases per year

Supervision: No, working independently doing own cases.

Spinals, Blocks, Epidurals - must be proficient: Yes

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days (Temps are available with a clear background / malpractice history and active, unrestricted license)

Caselogs required: Yes - proof of epidurals, spinals and blocks

EMR System: MedAxion

Vaccination Required:

Licenses: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
*Must be NBCRNA certified.

Additional Facts Regarding Site:

Daily Model: 6 CRNAs, 4 MDs Daily, 1 provider on post call day off from first call – 9 providers working per day. 7 providers at main hospital with 2 providers in late room and 2 in CRNAs in ASC. All providers rotate evenly between the sites.

Model Type: Not supervision or medical direction. CRNAs and MDs working independently doing own cases.

Special Notes or Stipulations Regarding Site: High case volume, All providers work their own cases, high risk OB, 1300 births per year, No Nicu at the hospital, so if there are issues the baby is shipped to Southbend or Fort Wayne. In-house call provider will have an anesthesia only call room.
