Facility in Evansville, IN seeking CRNA locums coverage Rates: $240/hr Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Start Date: October 28, 2024 Assignment Duration: Ongoing Position Overview: Facility is seeking experienced CRNAs to provide anesthesia services across three locations. This role involves a mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, providing coverage in various surgical specialties. Responsibilities: Schedule: Monday-Friday with 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. Start times: 7:00 AM unless assigned case time is earlier (arrival 30 minutes prior to case start). Overtime: Must be approved by a supervising physician before the end of the shift. Estimated Shifts/Month: 20, with a minimum of 3 shifts per week. Typical Cases: High volume of GI, Ortho, Neuro, General, Trauma, Urology, Respiratory, Cardiology, etc. High volume of GI procedures, including up to 15 procedures per day. Supervisory model with 1 Anesthesiologist supervising up to 5 CRNAs. No OB or Open Heart cases. Low pediatric volume (only relatively healthy peds). Support Staff: CRNAs are supported by OR nurses, operating room techs, and patient care techs. Patient Population: Mostly adult with a small percentage of pediatric cases. Qualifications: Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible CRNA. Experience: Minimum of 1 year with 200 cases in the last 12 months (required for credentialing). Licensing: Indiana State License (will accept candidates needing to obtain a license); IMLC accepted. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required. Case Logs: Minimum of 250 cases in the past 12 months and minimum of 425 hours of anesthesia practice in the past 12 months. Background: Clear background with no malpractice preferred. Other Requirements: No new grads accepted. Credentialing Timeline: 6-8 weeks. Credentialing Information: Privileges: Full and temporary privileges available. Time to Credential: Approximately 56 days.
