Specialty: Cardiac Anesthesiologist
Start Date: Mid-October 2024
End Date: 9/1/2025
Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Role Highlights:
• Call Requirements: Determined after the first month of work
• Cases per Day: 1-3, focusing on a wide range of adult cardiac procedures
• Patient Population: All adult patients, no pediatric cases
• Support Staff: Begin with solo cases (no residents or fellows) and transition to a fully supported team including techs and perfusionists
• Supervision of CRNAs: Not required, as CRNAs do not staff cardiac rooms
• ICU/ICCU Rounding: Not required, managed by a separate team
• Scope: Comprehensive cardiac care, from valves to transplants
Preferred Qualifications:
• Recent fellowship completion within the last couple of years
• Experience with liver transplants is a plus
• Certifications Required: TEE certification
• Licenses Required: IL State License and DEA
Credentialing/Privileging Time Frame: 90-120 days

• 1 year ongoing
• Average of 1-3 cases per day
• Monday-Friday
