Job Title: Anesthesiologist – Locum Tenens
Location: Northeast Connecticut
Schedule:
Regular hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Shift Type: 8-hour days
Call: Required (6–10 call shifts per month)
Weeknight: Pager call required
Weekend: Pager call required
In-house call: Not needed
Overtime: Expected

On-Call Requirements:
Beeper call for MDs; CRNAs cover backup second calls
Call back rate: <10%

Board Certification Required: Yes – Anesthesiology (BC)
Setting: Small community hospital
Patient Population: Adults
EMR: iPro
Support Staff: CRNAs (MD supervision, ratio 3:4), Surgical Team
Credentialing Timeframe:

30–60 days if CT license in hand
60–120 days if licensing required
