This outpatient surgery center provides a focused and efficient clinical environment dedicated to less critical, elective surgical cases. The facility operates Monday through Friday with no call requirements, offering a structured and predictable schedule with strong administrative support for credentialing and onboarding.

Physician - Anesthesiology

Job Details:

• Locum tenens coverage needed for multiple date ranges beginning 7/20/2026 and ongoing
• Outpatient, clinic-only schedule with no call requirements
• Monday through Friday shifts, 7:00am - 4:00pm
• 8 guaranteed hours per day with overtime applicable after 9 hours (OT must be pre-approved by medical director via email or text)
• Approximately 8 patient encounters per shift
• Cases will be less critical in nature; no cardiac, vascular, neuro, OB, thoracic, or complex orthopedic cases
• General anesthesia required for both adult and pediatric patients
• Ventilation management required
• Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues required
• Active California license required; licensed in CA only
• Active DEA required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
• Urgent date coverage (7/20-7/24 and 8/03-8/07) requires a clean file with no malpractice history, NPDB concerns, DUIs, drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions
• Airport parking at departing airport is reimbursable if provider drives themselves
• Ground transportation from destination airport to lodging and from lodging to facility will be reimbursed
• Mileage and ride share from provider's home to departing airport are not reimbursed
