Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) needed in Seneca, Pennsylvania

Job description

Compensation: $240 per hour

SCHEDULE & CALL

Shift Length: 8–10 hours

Regular scheduled hours required

Listed Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

In-house call: Preferred

Weeknight pager call: Not required

Weekend pager call: Not required

Overtime: Not expected but available

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES & CASE MIX

The CRNA will provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures, including:

General Anesthesia

Orthopedic Anesthesia

Obstetric Anesthesia (OB)

Pediatric Anesthesia

FACILITY INFORMATION

Anesthesia Rooms: 9

Electronic Medical Records: Epic

Anesthesia Model: Physician-supervised

CRNA-to-MD Ratio: 4:1

Physicians do not perform their own cases.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Appropriate Pennsylvania advanced practice nursing credentials.

Graduation from a nurse anesthesia education program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA) or its predecessor.

Current CRNA certification through the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists or its predecessor, or qualifying initial certification/recertification status.

Board certification or qualifying certification status required.

CREDENTIALING & PRIVILEGING

Estimated privileging timeframe: 90 days.
