Overview

Schedule & Coverage
Flexible 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off scheduling model
Four 10-hour shifts per week during scheduled coverage blocks
Long-term assignment potential with extension opportunities
Ongoing call responsibilities during scheduled coverage periods
Call coverage includes OB, trauma, and emergency surgery support
Provider must be able to respond to the hospital within required response times while on call
Typical weekly structure includes:
OR-focused surgical days
Additional procedural and pain management coverage on select weekdays

Case Mix & Clinical Scope:
Providers should be comfortable managing:
General surgical anesthesia
Obstetric anesthesia and emergency OB support
Trauma and emergency surgical cases
Pain management procedures
Epidural steroid injections (preferred experience)
This role is best suited for CRNAs comfortable with independent practice and broad procedural exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Provide anesthesia coverage across surgical and procedural services
Participate in scheduled and on-call coverage responsibilities
Support OB and emergency surgery coverage needs
Deliver safe perioperative care in a community hospital environment
Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and procedural teams
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Requirements
Active CRNA certification required
State licensure or eligibility required
Ability to provide both surgical and OB anesthesia coverage
Comfort with emergency and trauma-related anesthesia needs
Pain management and ESI experience preferred
Strong independent clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work effectively in a rural/community-focused setting
