New Locums Opportunity in North Carolina - CRNA Gastro

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced CRNA to join a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center specializing in gastroenterology and non-surgical weight loss procedures. This is a full-time opportunity with a collaborative clinical team and an expedited credentialing process.

Position Details
-Practice Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center
-Credentialing Timeframe: ASAP (1 week or less)

Practice Environment
-Office-based Gastroenterology and Non-Surgical Weight Loss Center
-Fast-paced clinical setting
-EMR: gGastro (GMED)
-Collaborative physician support
-Option to float between two facilities (45 minutes apart) - not required

Patient Volume & Population
-17–24 patients per day, depending on the physician
-Patient ages range from 16 years (rare) to 80 years

Procedures
-Gastroenterology procedures, including EGD and Colonoscopy
-Non-surgical weight loss procedures requiring anesthesia
-Endoscopic gastric sleeve procedures

Required Skills
-Experience with GI sedation
-General anesthesia experience

Preferred Experience
-Gastroenterology or ambulatory anesthesia
-Office-based anesthesia or ambulatory surgery center (ASC) environments

Requirements
-Active North Carolina (NC) license
-NBCRNA certification required
-BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
-Minimum of 2–3 years of CRNA experience
