This assignment spans a busy community hospital and an affiliated ambulatory surgery center, both operating under a physician supervision model with organized perioperative workflows designed to support quality anesthesia care delivery. The hospital supports a broad surgical program encompassing multiple specialties, while the ASC accommodates a focused procedural caseload across ophthalmology, gastrointestinal, and ENT services. Locum tenens CRNA coverage is sought on an ASAP basis to address additional staffing needs within the Anesthesia Department.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide anesthesia services under a physician supervision model during day shifts across a community hospital and an ambulatory surgery center, working 8-hour shifts at the ASC and 10-hour shifts at the hospital, Monday through Friday. The hospital surgical case mix includes General, Neurological, Cardiac, Orthopedic, Gastrointestinal, and Endoscopy procedures. The ASC caseload includes full knee procedures, cataracts, colonoscopies, EGDs, and tonsillectomies. No call coverage is required, and board certification is required for all clinicians considered for this locum tenens engagement.
