CRNA Assignment close to Tampa, FL

13-week assignment with the option to extend

Shift Details: Current Need - 2 FT CRNAs for weekday and weekend coverage. Weekends are 16 and/or 24 hour shifts. Weekdays are 12 hour shifts 7a-7p.

Work Details:
• Anesthetizing Sites: 12 ORs/9 NORA
• Number of Surgical Cases per Year: 9,000
• Anesthesia Model: 9MD / 16 APP
• MD:CRNA Ratio: 1:3. Care team model. Physicians do 99% supervision. Self performing cases is uncommon. Physicians are expected to be present for Induction and Emergence, participate in post op-care, participate in pre-op evaluation of patient. This is a hands on practice.
• Trauma Call: In-house call shift starts at 3pm and runs to 7am. MDs will have a CRNA for the general OR/Trauma/IR cases. The post call day is off if you wish, some prefer to work.
• Types of Cases: Level II Trauma, Ortho, Spine, Vascular, limited Neuro, Endo, EP Lab, ***NO OB***NO TRANSPLANTS***
• Medaxion (for anesthesia charting) - Meditech for orders. Meditech for reviewing patient records

Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required
· License required: FL license in hand, no exceptions

Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
