Anatomic/Clinica Pathology opening in Texas

Job description

Specialty: Anatomic/Clinical Pathology – MD/DO
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 13 weeks ongoing
Shift Details: Either Full-time or part-time (2-3 weeks per month) (Tue, Wed, Thurs) but can work additional days
Schedule: 7:30am – 4:30PM Monday thru Friday on site
-Call Schedule: TBD (Available for phone calls from the lab) (Phone consults)
Work Details:
· Support staff: Adequate histologist/path aids
Amount of coverage needed per month: Either Full-time or part-time (2-3 weeks per month)
· Daily Volume: 15 -20 cases per day
· Department description:
· EMR: NovoPath
· Hospital bed size: 162
· Special procedures:
· Skills required: General Surgical Pathology experience
Practice Setting:
• Hospital
Requirements:
Board Certification: AP/CP Certified required
· License required: Active TX
· DEA:
· CSR:
· Certifications preferred:
· Certifications required: APCP Certified required
Minimum experience required: Will look at 1-2 years if exp. (Ideal candidate would have 5 years experience working in a hospital)
Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days
