Anatomic/ Clinical Pathologist Needed in Texas

Specialty: Anatomic/Clinical Pathology – MD/DO
Start Date: 2/1/2025
Contract Length: Ongoing
Shift Details: Call Schedule: M-F, 5:00p - 7:30a, Sat-Sun 24 hour call
Schedule: M-F, 7:30a-5:00p onsite
Work Details:
· Amount of coverage needed per month: 3 FTE
· Volume per day: 45-55 Cases per day split between 3 pathologists
· Patient population/age: All
· Department Description: Pathology
· EMR: Cerner Fusion
· Hospital bed size: 400 beds
· Skills required: AP / CP Surgical pathologist, with experience in a busy hospital setting. Case mix will include breast, colon, derm, Gyn, lung, stomach, prostate, thyroid, frozen sections, FNA’s, etc.
· Pathologist will have phone call access to sub-specialty pathologists for consultation

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required, AP/CP Certified
· License required: Active TX
· DEA:
· CSR:
· Certifications preferred:
· Certifications required: AP/CP Board Certified
· Minimum experience required: 1-2 years
Credentialing Timeframe: Can get expedited privileges in 30-45 days.
