Overview:
We are seeking a board-certified psychiatrist to join Mederva Health, where we focus on treating the whole person, not just their symptoms, through integrated care that bridges mental, physical, and lifestyle health.

In this virtual role, you will provide psychiatric consultations under a collaborative care model, working alongside primary care physicians, behavioral health coaches, and therapists. You will participate in weekly rounding sessions, offering expert recommendations for patients requiring higher levels of care or direct psychiatric intervention.

Your expertise will drive patient-centered, integrated care that addresses modifiable risk factors and improves outcomes for chronic conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and depression.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a clinical consultant for BHCMs, therapists, and PCPs, providing guidance on behavioral therapy adjustments, care recommendations, and medication suggestions.
- Participate in weekly virtual rounding sessions with therapists and BHCMs to review patients flagged for higher-level psychiatric input.
- Support BHCMs in identifying patients who may require direct psychiatric evaluation or intervention for the highest level of care.
- Offer expertise on integrating behavioral and lifestyle psychiatry principles into patient care plans.
- Deliver virtual consultations as needed for patients requiring direct psychiatric care.
- Assist in shaping scalable care protocols to enhance patient engagement and outcomes.

Requirements:
- MUST be board-certified in psychiatry.
- MUST have a Michigan state license to practice psychiatry.
- Familiarity with Lifestyle Psychiatry.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based behavioral therapies, including adjustments for lifestyle factors.
- Experience collaborating in a team-based care model, providing oversight and expertise for care managers and therapists.
- Proficiency with virtual health tools, including digital platforms for documentation and communication.
