Addiction Medicine Physician needed in Brooklyn, NY

Job description

Clinic is open 24/7 365. Shifts are 4p-12p, 8a-8p, 8p-8a
Full Time Preferred but will take Part time

· Support Staff: One other NP
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Weekdays and weekends
· Patients per day: 25-30
· 70 Bed Inpatient facility
· Patient Population: Adults
• Department Description: Conducts medical examinations of patients and coordinates treatment. Reviews medical history and clarifies information with patient. Examines patients by conducting physical examinations and recording results. Takes or orders specimens, smears, blood tests, X-rays, and other tests. Orders tests to supplement the examination and to assist in evaluating patient signs, symptoms, and problems. Evaluates patient condition and makes diagnosis of patient problems. Discusses findings of examinations and tests with patients and recommends approaches to improving health and well-being.
· EMR: CERNER
· Background check required
· Skills Required: Suboxone trained
