Facility:
This is a 396-bed academic medical center located just outside of Boston, serving as a regional campus for UMass Chan Medical School and a major teaching site for the Tufts Neurology Residency. The facility is a designated Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center, featuring a newly renovated 9-bed Neurosciences Critical Care Unit (NCCU) with plans to expand to 12 beds, fostering strong interdisciplinary collaboration across multiple specialties.

Opportunity:
Physician - Neurocritical Care

Job Details:

• Join a collaborative Neurocritical Care team consisting of 5 Neurointensivists and 14 Advanced Practitioners (APs)
• Attend on the NCCU primary service and the Neurocritical Care consult service, seeing patients across SICU, CT-ICU, MICU, and CCU
• Opportunity to contribute to expanding NCCU bed capacity from 9 to 12 beds
• Leadership roles available for candidates passionate about research productivity and potential AP fellowship development
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration across Neurosurgery, Trauma/Surgical Critical Care, Critical Care Medicine, Neurointerventional Radiology, and Emergency Medicine
• Board Certification in Neurology required
• UNCS and/or ACGME eligibility/certification in Neurocritical Care required
• Must be eligible for a Massachusetts medical license
• Academically motivated candidates dedicated to high-quality clinical care and teamwork preferred
• Faculty appointment at UMass Chan Medical School available, with rank commensurate with experience
