The facility operates as a Level 1 Trauma Center with two primary stroke centers in the market and a thrombectomy capable center with significant volume, providing an excellent environment for high-acuity neuroendovascular care.

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage with a schedule of 1 week on, 1 week off (7 on/7 off), 7A-7P with 24-hour neuroendovascular responsibility
• Respond to ED stroke alerts 24/7 while on service
• Call coverage required with 12 hours in-house and 12 hours beeper coverage based on needs
• Manage an inpatient list of 10-12 patients per day, plus new patients from call or IR as needed
• 100% inpatient practice setting serving adult and geriatric patient populations
• Perform thrombectomy procedures as deemed clinically appropriate
• Perform 24/7 neuroendovascular and ED stroke call responsibilities
• Document using Epic EMR
• Active Ohio medical license required
• Board Certification required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Interventional Neurologist designation required
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience required
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe of 120 days
• Travel reimbursements include airfare, lodging, and rental car
