CVICU/CTICU APP Locum Opportunity – Roanoke, VA (will license)

Job description

Location: Roanoke, VA
Start: June/July
Assignment Length: 13 weeks

**Facility Details:**

* 703-bed Level I Trauma Center
* 12-bed Cardiothoracic ICU with after-hours PCU cross coverage

**Schedule:**

* 3 x 13-hour shifts per week
* Day shift: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
* Night shift: 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM
* Must be comfortable working both days and nights

**Work Details:**

* Provide primary management for immediate post-operative patients, including thoracic surgery
* Write progress notes and manage daily care plans
* LVAD and ECMO experience required
* Procedural skills preferred but not required (intubations handled by anesthesia)

**Requirements:**

* Experience in cardiothoracic ICU strongly preferred
* Ability to work independently in high-acuity environments
* Active Virginia license preferred (open to licensing)

**Travel:**

* Airfare, lodging, and rental car covered by client
