About the clinician's workday

The plastic surgeon will provide weekend call coverage from Friday 7 AM through Monday 7 AM, with 2 weekends per month required. The clinician will manage inpatient and emergency department patient care with an average census of 10+ primary and consult cases. The position involves performing 2+ surgical cases per weekend with an average of 2+ admissions mostly consisting of consults with some primary admissions. Board certification and active involvement in reconstructive plastic surgery practice is required, specifically trauma of upper and lower extremities, hand surgery, and craniofacial trauma with current or recent experience taking call at a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma center.
