Internal Medicine Physician
St.Louis Suburbs, Illinois
Full-Time | Outpatient | Mission-Driven Practice
BAS Healthcare is partnering with a mission-driven, community-focused healthcare organization to recruit a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal or Family Medicine Physician for a full-time outpatient opportunity in East St. Louis, Illinois. This role offers the chance to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse and underserved population while maintaining a predictable weekday schedule and strong work–life balance.
Position Overview
100% Outpatient Internal/Family Medicine
Provide comprehensive care for adult patients, managing acute and chronic conditions
Perform physical exams, diagnostic evaluations, and develop treatment plans
Prescribe medications, administer immunizations, and manage chronic disease care
Emphasis on preventive care, wellness visits, and population health
Deliver culturally sensitive care with attention to social determinants of health
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team, including APPs, nurses, and specialists
Participate in community outreach and health education initiatives
Document all encounters accurately and timely in the EHR
Monday–Friday daytime schedule
Occasional travel to other clinic locations, as needed

Candidate Qualifications
MD or DO
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Eligible for or licensed to practice in the state of Illinois
Strong commitment to patient-centered, community-based care
Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented outpatient environment
Experience serving diverse or underserved populations preferred
