Other/Life Certifications: Active ACLS, BLS (HIGHLY PREFERRED - Required for credentialing); Active DEA (HIGHLY PREFERRED - Required for credentialing, candidates must have a DEA they are able to transfer for urgent March dates)

Procedures Required: Must have proficiency in general neurosurgery, trauma spine, placing an EVD, placing bolts for intracranial pressure monitoring, CLEM, performing craniectomy and craniotomy, spine, intensive care unit, IC management of severely TBI patients, brain tumors

Types of Cases (Surg / Anes / IRRAD): General neurosurgery, trauma spine

Support Staff available: None

Specific Dates Needed: Mar 16 (7a) - 20 (7a); ongoing dates TBD, starting May/June 2026

Department Structure/Shift Detail: Setting: Call, Inpatient Trauma Level I; FTE: 1.0; Level 1 Trauma facility with primary call requirements - 24/7/365

Shift Times: 24 hour call - 7a-7a

Call Schedule (if applicable): Average Total Callback Hours: Weekday: 7.97 hours; Weekend: 9.42 hours
Must have level 1 trauma center experience in the last year
EMR: Epic
