Primary Care Physician needed at Correctional Facility in South Carolina

Job description

- Coverage dates: ASAP – 6-month initial contract, with the ability to extend
o Start date is dependent on completion of credentialing and background/security clearance
o Tentative credentialing timeframe: 10-12 weeks
- Weekly schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts, 7:30a-4p
o Will accept 3-4 days/wk schedule
- Average 12-14 patients per day, all adults
- Primary Care cases, sick/well visits, some chronic care coverage (hypertension/diabetes, etc.)
- Basic procedures required - light trauma cases such as suturing and casting/splinting
- Travel/lodging provided
