About the Role
As the expedition physician, you will accompany intimate travel groups of up to 50 guests on curated international itineraries. Your role centers on providing general medical oversight, basic assessment, and emergency response support during flights and at destinations. This is a readiness and safety-focused position, not a traditional clinical caseload.

Who Thrives in This Role
• MD or DO with an active medical license in good standing
• Training or experience in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Travel Medicine, Expedition/Wilderness Medicine, or similar generalist backgrounds
• Confident providing urgent care evaluation, triage, and stabilization in mobile or remote settings
• Adaptable, calm, and personable with excellent communication skills
• Enthusiastic about global travel and comfortable navigating diverse environments

Core Responsibilities
• Conduct brief pre-travel health reviews for guests
• Provide on-journey medical guidance, first-line treatment, and initial stabilization when necessary
• Coordinate care with vetted local medical facilities if higher-level care is needed
• Maintain oversight of the medical kit and related documentation

Travel & Scheduling
• Typical journey duration: approximately 4 weeks
• Destinations span Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, and the Americas
• Physicians may select specific itineraries based on interest and availability
