Pre-Op NP/PA Opportunity in California

Job description

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift Details: 8-hours shifts
Schedule: 5x8, 4x8
Work Details:
• Support staff: 18 FTE APPs, FU team that helps, 1 attending anesthesia consult, 2 per day, triage NP for resource, APP supervisor
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-Time
• Patients per day: will start at 5/day and work up to 9/day
• Patient population/age: occasionally will see adolescents, mostly all adults
• Department description: sees all pre-op patients like transplants, cardiac surgery, endoscopy, ORIF, cancer surgeries.
o 170 appoints/day. Fast paced clinic
o Need to work fast.
o Need great collaboration skills with MDs, all charts are shared with teams/MD
• EMR: EPIC
• Skills required: Must be proficient in pre-op care and optimizing for pre-op care
Practice Setting: Outpatient
Requirements:
• Board Certification: A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC
• License required: CA and DEA Required
• Certifications required: BLS
• Minimum experience required: At least 2 years working pre-op, ICU, ER, pulmonology, or cardiology exp.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days

• 4-5, 8 hour shifts weekly
