About the clinician's workday
The position involves working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with on-call duties every other week, starting Friday at 5:00 p.m. and ending the following Friday at 8:00 a.m. The lab holds CLIA certification, surveyed by The Joint Commission, and processes approximately 35 to 50 cases per day. The locum tenens physician will also be responsible for supervising the clinical laboratory, including the blood bank.
